No shampoo?!?!?

I have decided to stop using shampoo in my regimen.
*GASP*
I know, but I'm trying to grow my hair out to BSL and I think shampoo may be too drying.
DISCLAIMER: I can experiment on my head. Why? Because its mine dammit.
Any who, I'm gonna try this out for about 3 months Feb-April. and yes I can change my mind (see above) but yes, no-poo,3 months, my hair.
Products: any conditioner I have on hand. My fav co-wash is Pantene CoWash, but I'm open to suggestions.

On another note I really want a haircut. Nothing drastic, just more shape.

Hair Regimen Fall/Winter 13/14

My Fall/Winter Regimen 2013/2014

This winter is my 3rd year natural!!!! Yay!!! The lesson of this winter is leave it be!!! This means, my regimen is very different this year. In total I’ve worn my hair out maybe 3 weeks this fall/winter. I’m seriously protective styling. Not for length retention, which btw is an awesome benefit) but because it’s so very convenient. I CANNOT be late to work ever, so I enjoy not having to do my hair daily. My goal is to not do my famous box braids til spring, so I’ve been experimenting with different protective styles. I’ve done mini twists (no added hair) and Nubian Twists (added hair) and now I’m trying to decide what my next style will be.

Today's Hair

Though its December its supposed to be nice this week 40's so I'm rocking a twist out :-)

3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep Conditioner

I'm already updating my regimen because I've found a treasure.a gem. the best thing since sliced bread...lol It's 3 Minute Miracle Deeeeep Conditioner by Aussie Moist. Can I just say thebomb.com??? I left it in for an hour and a half, way more than the three minutes I know, but my results were AMAZING!!! I didn't take any pictures but my hair was shiny and very moisturized. I paid less than $3.00 for this product and it WORKS. *just because you pay a lot for a product that doesn't always equal good results* I only used it once and didn't add anything to it, yet, I've fallen in love :-)

My Regimen/My Products

My Fall/Winter Regimen
This will be by 1st winter wearing my natural hair. Last winter I wore weaves, which are not an option this year. While it should be snowing here in Rochester,NY, today it was mild. Anyways I'm a bit of a product junkie so my goal for my products are to : Maintain Maximum Moisture and Protection from the elements. That's all I want because I want to maintain all my length :-) To track my successes (is that a word) and failures I will update weekly on the blog.
